Preparations to launch the elevation of St. Ambrose Charity health centre 1V Kagadi to a hospital status slated for 6th March 2026 are underway.
In a press conference held at St. Ambrose charity health centre (iv) on 19th Feb 2026, Henry Muhumuza, the administrator of the health facility said they have organised a series of activities leading to the facility’s elevation ceremony.
He says they will hold a charity run on 21st Feb,2026 Saturday, to solicit funds for facilitating the medical camp slated for 6th to 8th March,2026.
Muhumuza adds that the medical camp will provide essential health services to the community as part of cooperate social responsibility, and marking the uninterrupted 23 years of service.
He says Prime minister Robina Nabanja is expected to preside over the elevation ceremony for the hospital slated for 6th March,2026.
On her part, Boneconsila Kyomugisha, the principal Nursing Officer, rallied the community to embrace the marathon run scheduled for February 21 and the upcoming free medical camp and receive health care services.
She says particpants are required to buy running kits at 30,000Shs each.
Kyomukama commended development partners such as Kagadi hospital, KISCON, Centenary Bank, among others for the support.
