The Kagadi District Returning Officer Mercy Ataho declared Amos Ssebuliba the NRM flag bearer as the duly elected district male councillor for Kyanaisoke Sub-County after securing a landslide victory in the residual election results.
Ssebuliba on 17th Tuesday secured win with 1325 votes while his rival Edison Tumusiime Nyakatura garnered only 115 votes.
Ataho also declared Mwiringire Kellen Nyiramajambere independent candidate as the winner for the female district councillor for Mpeefu Sub-County beating the NRM Flag bearer Rosemary Akatwijuka.
Nyiramajambere secured victory with 1916 votes while Rosemary Akatwijuka obtained 1363 votes.
The elections officer also declared Jasipa Twesiime as the elected councillor for PWDs Mpeefu Sub-County with 7 votes while Sunday Rwaboona gathered 03 votes.
Amos Seburiba the councillor elect for Kyanaisoke Sub-County promised to lobby for improved service delivery including a health Centre next term.
Mwiringire Kellen pledged to improve access to clean water and improve road infrastructure in Mpeefu Sub-County.
