The Buyaga East MP Eric Musana has asked families to desist from sharing property after the death of the parents.
He says sub-dividing property such as land among children, hinders commercial agriculture which is crucial for the country’s economy.
The legislator made the call last evening at the send off of late Fred Baijanibeera in Kihuura village,Nyabutanzi Sub-County,Kagadi district.
MP Musana advises children to always leave the family land intact and use it collectively for commercial agriculture to improve their wellbeing.
He identified land fragmentation as a significant obstacle to development.
