The Buyaga East MP Eric Musana has donated 4.3M shillings to buy land that will accommodate offices for the Bulamula solar water supply system and a reservoir tank in Kiryanga Sub-County.
The MP’s donation followed the public outcry after they failed to raise money for buying land.
The Sub-County authorities had charged every household to contribute 18,000shs for buying land for establishment of a reservoir tank and water offices.
Handing over the funds to the sub-county leaders and the owners of the land at a community meeting held at Bulamula trading center on Monday,MP Musana asked residents to maintain peace and good relations with their leaders.

Residents led by the district female councilor for Kicucura and Kiryanga sub-counties Evas Byayindamira lauded MP Musana for buying land for the water project and promised him support in the forthcoming elections.
Bulamula solar water supply system covers the villages of Kisegu,Kikonda and Bulamura in Kikonda parish,Kiryanga Sub-County.
Meanwhile, The Buyaga East MP Eric Musana also cautioned residents in Kagadi district to always avoid sectarian tendencies for the continuous development of their areas.
He made the call on Monday during a community meeting in Buramura trading center, Kiryanga Sub-County Kagadi district.
Musana said at the time he came into politics, the district had been torn apart by religious and tribal conflicts, which he has succeeded to address through his visionary leadership of unity and service delivery.
Referring to President Museveni’s message of unity, Musana said for a society to develop, it requires a diverse of ethnic groups who bring in new ideas for economic growth, asserting that development does not segregate in tribes, religion and age.
The legislator advised the electorate in Buyaga East constituency not to rally behind politicians who are promoting divisionism and tribalism for self gains.
