The Buyaga East MP Eric Musana has urged parents to be vigilant and protect their children during the long holiday season.

He made the call on Sunday in his address to Christians at Kyomunembe Catholic church in Kagadi town council,Kagadi district.

The legislator notes that children often get spoiled and join bad peer groups during these breaks, which can affect their education career.

He emphasized the need for parents to tighten security and supervision, given that the December holidays are one of the longest academic breaks.

Additionally,MP Musana advised children to assist their parents with domestic work during the holidays and avoid unnecessary travels to visit relatives that may result to early pregnancies and school dropouts.

He further advised parents to start up income generating projects such as piggery and allow their children to manage them as this will generate more income for school fees.

The legislator said Kyomunembe will be connected to the electricity grid in a near future, asking residents to dispel propaganda, expressing his commitment to improve service delivery.

Musana supported the church programs with One million shillings (UgxIM) cash.
