The Bishop of Hoima Catholic Diocese Rt Rev Vincent Kirabo has confirmed 413 believers into the catholic faith at St Mary’s Catholic parish, Kagadi town council Kagadi district.
Bishop Kirabo on Saturday 30th Nov 2024 asked the confirmed believers to keep loyalty to the catholic religion and live a reasonable life.
He also advised parents to invest in the children education and give maximum care to their families.
Bishop Kirabo further advised the believers to embrace government programs to improve their homestead incomes and support the development of the church.
He further advised the believers to embrace pilgrimage in the designated shrines in their places and promote spiritual renewal.
The St Mary’s catholic parish priest and Episcopal vicar Kagadi vicariate Rev Fr Peter Kaberenge confirmed that a number of 413 Christians were confirmed into the catholic faith and asked them to keep the candle which was lit at their baptism to keep burning and always keep defending their catholic faith.
Meanwhile the confirmed believers with excitement promised to keep exercising catholic teachings and principals as have been indoctrinated.
