The Buyaga East Member of Parliament, Eric Musana has called on parents to raise their children with strong moral values that align with societal expectations.
He made the appeal on Thursday while addressing mourners at the burial of the late Mugisa Samuel aka Cuba in Kyakabugahya B Cell, Kagadi Town Council, Kagadi district.
Musana emphasized that nurturing children with sound morals lays a strong foundation for their future success in all aspects of life. He noted that moral upbringing not only shapes character but also prepares children to become responsible members of society.
Reflecting on the life of the deceased, MP Musana commended Mugisa for his dedication to his children, particularly in providing them with quality education. He urged parents to emulate such commitment in order to secure a better future for their families.
The legislator also called upon religious leaders to take an active role in promoting moral values and guiding families in raising responsible children who will become dependable leaders in the future.
