The Buyaga East Member of Parliament Eric Musana has urged Christians in Kagadi district to embrace hard work to improve their livelihoods and strengthen their faith in Christ.
The legislator made the call on Sunday at Kisankwa God is working ministries church in Kinyarugonjo Sub-County, Kagadi district.
He advised Christians not to spend all their time in prayers but also venture into income generating activities to build their capacity of supporting church projects and improve their livelihoods.
Musana calls for every household to have a project such as poultry,piggery,goat rearing and commercial farming to eradicate poverty.
MP Musaan asserts that poverty stricken Christians are vulnerable to devil temptations, emphasizing hard work to have a strong faith in God.
However the legislator said the government is committed to continue extending services to the communities, challenging locals to also play their part of embracing development activities to enhance their household incomes.

Meanwhile, the Buyaga East MP Eric Musana also called on Muslims in Kagadi district to maintain discipline just like they did during the Holy month of Ramadan.
The legislator made the call on Sunday while addressing the Muslim fraternity during Eid-Ul-Fitir celebrations at Isunga Mosque in Isunga Sub-County Kagadi district.
The legislator asked the faithful to remain with the behaviour they portrayed during the month of Ramadan so that the Almighty Allah can reward them.
MP Musana also called on the Muslims to ensure that their children remain in school because it is the only wealth they can leave with them when they pass on to another world.
He asked children to beat the odds and keep in school despite facing significant challenges highlighting that the bright future is only for the educated ones.
However as the election period nears, MP Musana urges the electorate to ignore some politicians trading propaganda and hate speech in their trail for support, imploring them to only vote for the visionary leaders who would extend services to their areas.

MP Musana also joined Muslims at Kenga and Mabale mosques where he encouraged Muslims to embrace government programs and hard work to improve their homestead incomes.
He also unveiled the government’s infrastructure development plans of constructing 20Kms of tarmac in Mabale town council connecting with the Kagadi-Hoima High way to improve accessibility and growth of the town.
