Over 400 expectant mothers from Buyaga East constituency in Kagadi district have received free fully packaged mama kits courtesy of the area MP Eric Musana.
The legislator delivered the mama kits this afternoon at St.Mark Play ground in Kicucura Sub-county that hosted the Acaali female football tournament matches for Kiryanga zone.
Musana urges expectant mothers to attend all four recommended antenatal visits to help reduce the number of preterm births.
Meanwhile, the expectant mothers who received mama kits have commended MP Musana for the initiative and promise him support come 2026 elections.
He urged husbands to encourage and support pregnant mothers to attend timely antenatal care, have good nutrition, and to deliver from health facilities.
The legislator further asked parents to instill values and morals in their children, emphasizing the care and education of the girl child.
