Greater Kibaale district residents are in grief after the sudden demise of the former Greater Kibaale district Chairman George William Namyaka.
Namyaka is said to have died while in his house in Kitemuzi cell, Nyamyaka Ward Mabaale Town Council Kagadi district.

In greater Kibaale history on 26th April 2022, George William Namyaka was nominated to be the compromise candidate in a meeting that was held at Kibaale district headquarters after the 2001 general elections that were won by Fred Rulemera and on 25th July 2002, Namyaka was sworn as a compromise leader after the controversial elections.
However, the District Local Government availed two vehicles to Fred Ruremera who had stepped down, for use during his tour to bid farewell to the people of Kibaale.
Namyaka was the chairman between 2002 and 2016
He was a head teacher at Naigana SS for many years
He was also a District Service Commission Chairman for Kibaale.
Meanwhile, the cause of his death remains scarnty just waiting doctors’ examination.
