The Kagadi district woman MP Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi has distributed cocoa seedlings to the youth farmers in Paacwa Sub-County to enhance their household incomes.
Over 20 youth have benefited from the initiative.
The development comes after the youth farmers had requested MP Janepher to support them with the cocoa seedlings after lacking capacity to buy them on their own despite their willingness to grow the cash crop.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mukama Ajuna Twekambe from Rwenjobe Lc1,Kyakabanda parish in Paacwa Sub-County thanked MP Janepher for the timely intervention and hopes the seedlings will improve their livelihoods. He promises full support to the MP in the forthcoming elections.

At the function, the Paacwa Sub-County Lc3 chairperson George Asiga also lauded MP Janepher for supporting development programs in the Sub-County citing the rehabilitation of community access roads, fixing the bridges, funding village Saccos, among others.

In her remarks, the Kagadi district woman MP Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi urged the residents to use the prevailing peace and favorable economic environment provided by the NRM government to tap into income generating activities to improve their wellbeing.
She says that cocoa seedlings given to the youth will be a game changer in improving their income status and lauded them for having a positive attitude towards development.
