The Episcopal Vicar,Kagadi vicariate Msgr. Peter Kabelenge, has announced that preparations are complete for the corporate fundraising dinner scheduled for tomorrow, November 22, 2024, at Kagadi Vicariate Gardens in Kagadi Town Council, Kagadi District.
Rev.Fr.Kabelenge says the dinner has been organized to solicit funds for facilitating the National Catholic Youth Conference that will be hosted by Hoima Catholic diocese from 10th December, to December 15,2024 at our lady of Lourdes Bujumbura Cathedral in Hoima City.
He says the conference will attract over 20,000 catholic youth from across the country and neighboring countries. The youth will share ideas, experiences, opportunities and challenges encountered in their life.
Robert Semate, Chairperson of the organizing committee, emphasized that the conference seeks to bring young people closer to Christ and provide them with a holistic package based on gospel values and patriotism.
The conference will feature inspirational messages and activities tackling various aspects of life, revitalizing the church’s youth apostolate.
