The Kagadi Resident District Commissioner, Caroline Nanshemeza, together with the district Ebola Task Force, has agreed with leaders of the Faith of Unity to limit attendance at the birthday celebrations of Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka scheduled for June 11, 2026.
Speaking to Paradigm FM at the district headquarters this afternoon, Nanshemeza said a meeting held with Faith of Unity leaders resolved that the celebrations will be conducted under strict Ebola prevention measures to minimize the risk of disease transmission.
She explained that only selected leaders from each “Itambiro” will be allowed to attend the function physically, a move aimed at reducing the number of participants and ensuring compliance with public health guidelines.
Nanshemeza added that authorities will assess the venue to confirm that it can safely accommodate the expected attendees.
She also noted that adequate security personnel will be deployed to enforce adherence to Ebola Standard Operating Procedures throughout the event.
