It was somber mood as the former Buyaga county MP Ignatius Besisra was being laid to rest 17th Jan 2025 in Igagaza cell,Paacwa town council, Kagadi district.
President YoweriMuseven who was represented by Vice president Rtd Major Jesca Alupo extended sympathies to the people of Buyaga for losing a dedicated servant and NRM cadre who embraced social economic transformation.
He supported the burial with 10m Uganda shillings.

The prime minister of the republic of Uganda Robbina Nabanja eulogized the late as a trust worthy leader in all positions he has held in government.
She commends the president for any kind of support he has offered to the bereaved family.
Nabanja supported the construction of the church which Besisira was building with 5MUGX, pledged for iron sheets and also assured the People of Kagadi district that their long-awaited Ambulances shall come in February this year.

Matia Kasaija the Minister for Finance highlighted that they worked jointly with the late Besisira in the creation of the three counties of Buyaga, Bugangaizi and Buyanja describing him as a hardworking person.
He asked children to always seek any kind of advice from him.

Musana Eric Acaali the Buyaga East legislator commended the late for the development he fostered in the district and especially infrastructure development.

Meanwhile, the ceremony attracted dignitaries that include local government minister Rapheal Magezi, state minister for transport Fred Byamukama, State minister for public service Mary Mugasa, senior government workers and former members of parliament among others.
