Primary Seven Candidates of Rwendahi P/S in Ruteete Sub-County Kagadi district have been urged to be calm as they sit for their Primary Leaving Examinations.

The call was made on Monday by the health-In-Charge Galiboreka Health center (III) Erasmus Ndyamuhaki while officiating at the dedication mass for candidates and farewell ceremony at Rwendahi P/S in Ruteete Sub-County.

He advised the candidates to be focused, determined and handle the examination without panic to pass well.

Ndyamuhaki further asked candidates to avoid bad peer groups and observe discipline during the forthcoming long vacation, also asking them to further their studies and complete the education cycle.

Rev.Fr.Patrick Musinguzi from St.Mary’s catholic parish who led the dedication mass prayed for candidates to have good health and confidence as they faceoff the exams for better grades.

In her remarks, the school headteacher Evas Mushabe encouraged the students taking the exams to believe in themselves as the exam is their personal accountability to the parents and teachers.

She asked parents to provide scholastic materials and other requirements to the children to avoid interruptions, asserting that teachers have fulfilled their responsibilities.

Meanwhile, at Good Shepherded Nursery and P/S in Nyaruziba B,Kagadi town council,Rev.Fr.Julius Musazi also asked Primary Seven candidates to dedicate their lives to God and concentrate in academics if they are to excel in their exams.

He made the call on Monday afternoon during the dedication mass for P7 candidates at the school premises in Nyaruziba B.

Rev.Fr.Musasizi asked candidates to prioritize God and pray for divine guidance in their exams.

On her part, the school headteacher Dinah Atukunda asked candidates not to panic during exams for better grades.

She also advised candidates to avoid bad peer groups, have discipline and assist in domestic work during holidays.

The Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) will take place from Monday, November 4, 2024, to Thursday, November 7, 2024.
