Kagadi

A total of 306 Christians has been confirmed into the catholic faith at Blessed Virgin Mary mother of God Mpeefu catholic parish, Hoima diocese.

The confirmation Mass was on Thursday presided over by Monsignor Peter Kaberenge, Episcopal Vicar of Kagadi Vicariate, representing the Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara Diocese, Rt. Rev.Vincent Kirabo.

In his homily, Monsignor Kaberenge urged Christians to deepen their faith in Christ, remain steadfast in their beliefs, and actively serve the Church.

He emphasized the importance of hard work and commitment, calling on the newly confirmed Christians to put into practice the teachings they have received and to remain devoted to their spiritual journey.

Msgr.Kabelenge also commended the progress of Mpeefu Parish, praising the dedication and unity of its faithful.

The Parish Priest Mpeefu Catholic Parish, Rev.Fr. Godfrey Alinaitwe, expressed gratitude to Monsignor Kaberenge for presiding over the confirmation of 306 Christians.

He applauded the Diocese for its continued support and encouraged Christians to actively participate in Church programs, particularly initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation and development, including the construction of the priests’ residence.

Meanwhile, some of the newly confirmed Christians pledged to live according to the teachings of the Church and to uphold the Ten Commandments.

They expressed appreciation to their catechists and parents for guiding them in their faith journey and helping them understand the importance of their religion.
