Kagadi

The Ensonga team, led by its chairman, Hon. Musana Eric Acaali on 5th Sunday July, paid a courtesy visit to the Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, the Prime Minister of Uganda, at her residence in Kinena A Cell, Kakumiro Town Council, Kakumiro District.

While addressing the gathering, Hon. Musana said the purpose of the visit was to congratulate the Prime Minister on her reappointment by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to continue serving as Prime Minister for the 2026–2031 tunure.

As a gesture of appreciation and congratulating, the Ensonga team presented the Prime Minister with a cow, a he-goat, several chickens, beverages and bunches of matooke.

Hon. Musana noted that during his time in office and through the support of the Office of the Prime Minister, his constituents had benefited from improved service delivery.

 He cited the construction and rehabilitation of roads, health facilities, seed secondary schools, and the extension of electricity as some of the key achievements that have transformed livelihoods in Kagadi District and the wider region.

He said the visit was also an opportunity to thank the Prime Minister for her continued commitment to improving service delivery and congratulated her on her renewed appointment.

In her remarks, Rt. Hon. Nabbanja thanked Hon. Musana and the Ensonga team for the courtesy visit, describing their relationship as one built on mutual respect and cooperation.

The Prime Minister pledged to follow up on and ensure the fulfillment of the development promises made by President Museveni during his visit to Kagadi.

These include the construction of Kagadi Market, elevation of Kagadi to municipality status, upgrading and construction of roads and reminding the President about his earlier pledge to provide chairs for St. Luke’s Church of Uganda Kagadi.

The delegation comprised Rev Can. Francis Mugisa, the Archdeacon of Kagadi Archdeaconry, William Kasaija Mugenyi the LC III Chairperson of Kagadi Town Council, Robert Sematethe Town Clerk of Mabaale town council and several other local leaders and community members from Buyaga East and Kagadi district.
