Rev. Fr. Peter Kaberenge the Episcope Vicker St. Mary’s Kagadi Vicariate has applauded the outgoing leadership of Kagadi town council in Kagadi district for the great contribution towards infrastructure development and beatification of Kagadi town.
He made the remarks on Monday while officiating at a thanksgiving mass organized by leaders of Kagadi town council.
The mass was held at Kagadi town council headquarters in Kagadi town council district to bid farewell to the outgoing leaders.
In his summon, Kaberenge applauded the outgoing leaders for having worked tirelessly to promote and protect the dignity of Kagadi town council through promoting health and sanitation, beatification and infrastructure development.
He encouraged leaders to share memories and moments of happiness with their successors though they are leaving political offices.
Geoffrey Businge, the outgoing Lc3 chairperson for Kagadi town council said the mass was organized to thank God for having enabled them go through all the hardships successfully during term of office.
Businge highlighted the achievements of Kagadi town council during his regime as the town mayor.
He emphasized the need to promote peace and unity, urging his fellow leaders to respect each other.
