The Buyaga East Member of Parliament Eric Musana has rallied parents to send all children to their respective schools early enough so that they catch up with those who have already reported.
The legislator made the call on Monday evening while speaking to Paradigm fm shortly after schools opened for first term on Monday February 3.
Musana has emphasized the importance of parents supporting their children’s education. He encouraged parents to provide scholastic materials and other related support to their children especially in government schools.
He further advised parents educating from private schools having school fees challenges to harmonize with the school administrators than sending children to school without any deposit.
Musana underscores the need for every parent to ensure that every child goes to school, while urging those financially challenged, to utilize the available affordable government schools.

MP Musana also warns the public about bursary and scholarship scams as schools reopen.
He says that a number of conmen are targeting vulnerable parents, schools, and guardians with fake bursaries.
The legislator urges parents to do some background check about the said scholarships.
