MP Musana pays tribute to fallen veteran politician Ignatius Besisira

The Buyaga East Member of Parliament Eric Musana has paid tribute to the life and work of former greater Buyaga County MP Ignitius Besisira following his death on Sunday.

Besisira, a resident of Kamata B Cell, Pachwa Town Council in Kagadi District, breathed his last while receiving treatment in one of the health facilities in Kampala.

It is reported that Late Besisira has been battling undisclosed illness for quite some time before his death.

MP Musana has described late Besisira as a historical politician who rose through the ranks from a local government leader to a national political figure.

He says the deceased has been a parent, NRM party staunch supporter, and an educationist and that his legacy will be remembered.

The Mp has commiserated with the family, relatives and friends.

Late Ignatius Besisira,former Buyaga county Member of Parliament.

The late Besisira was a father to Stephen Twesige Rulekere, the NRM flag bearer for Buyaga East County.

He also served as the former Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Kamwenge, the former Speaker of the Kibaale District Council, and a parliamentary commissioner for finance, among other notable roles.
