The senior inspector of schools Kagadi District Omukwenda Alinda Akugizibwe has encouraged the community to join efforts in supporting child education and keeping them in school to complete the education cycle.
He made the remarks during a one-day workshop of Head teachers from both primary and secondary schools aimed at improving their capacity of handling duties.
The workshop was organized by Edify, a non-profit organization focused on improving and expanding Christ-centered education globally,
Edify is partnering with school’s owners and education entrepreneurs in Africa and Latin America, and it is working with over 27,000 schools and 7.5 million students.
Omukwenda Alinda commended the organization for training teachers emphasizing that such training improves the capacity and integrity for the teachers which helps them to stay in the profession.

Alinda also asked school head teachers to cooperate with teachers and other stakeholders in order to run their profession and maintain their duties professionally.

Keith Atusinguza from Edify organization said that they have helped many schools to grow and improve including expanding knowledge of the teachers.
He also asked head teachers and teachers to always attend such workshops in order to improve their knowledge, teaching capabilities and handle government equipment in better ways.
