The Kagadi District Police Commander (DPC) SP Kenneth Ampulira has called for public cooperation to combat the increasing crimes in the district.
He made the call on Thursday during an interview with Paradigm FM at Kagadi Central Police Station in Kagadi town council, Kagadi district.
SP Ampulira urged offended residents to always report their cases to police, strongly condemning acts of mob justice.
He emphasizes the importance of deeper collaboration with the public in fighting crimes and promoting rule of law in communities.
The Kagadi DPC has also issued a strong warning to the public against engaging in mob action.
He urges citizens to rely on legal procedures to address crimes other than taking the law into their own hands.
Meanwhile, SP Ampulira has also asked locals to embrace hard work instead of committing crime.
