The former Buyaga East Member of Parliament, Eric Musana, has pledged to continue standing with the people of Buyaga East during both difficult and joyful moments, saying that he remains a citizen of the constituency and is committed to serving its people.

Musana’s message was delivered by Vincent Kusiima, a staff member of Paradigm Radio, during the burial of the late Petero Senyama in Kyomukama Cell, Kagadi Town Council, Kagadi District.

Senyama lost his life in a road accident in Kyenzige.

Musana also appealed to parents and guardians to prioritize their children’s education, emphasizing that education remains a key foundation for a brighter future.

He further urged residents to remain vigilant against Ebola and strictly adhere to guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of the disease.

Leading the send-off service, Cecilia Nagawa, a catechist at Kyomukama Catholic Church, reminded mourners of the importance of preparing for eternal life, noting that human life on earth is temporary.

Nagawa urged Christians to focus on their spiritual well-being rather than worldly possessions. She encouraged believers to perform good deeds and observe God’s commandments in order to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Boda Boda Riders, Hamza Ategeka, conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family following the loss of their colleague and friend.

Ategeka said the deceased died in a road accident reportedly caused by over-speeding. He called upon fellow boda boda riders to observe road safety regulations and exercise caution while on the roads to avoid similar tragedies.
