Followers of the faith of unity have marked 46 years ever since Owobusobozi Bisaka healed the first person.
Bisaka healed a sick young girl, on 22nd February, 1980 marking the beginning of his healing ministry and religion. She had been reportedly bewitched.
The victim identified as Mitooro has now grown up and raised through the faith of unity ranks to become Omukwenda.
The celebrations were held at Kyaruboija playgrounds, Kapyemi headquarters in Muhorro Town Council Kagadi district.
In his address, the Faith of Unity leader Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka congratulated President Yoweri Museveni upon his re-election in the recently concluded elections and promised continued collaboration with the NRM Government.
He commended the Sitting NRM government for freedom of worship and its overwhelming love towards their faith.
Bisaka also lauded the civil servants for their good working relations with the faith of unity noting that the government workers including security operatives have always given them good services whenever approached for help.
Owobusobozi Bisaka also delivered teachings on the concept of Oneness and unity.
Emphasizing that unity is the key to progress, Owobusobozi Bisaka encouraged believers to come together irrespective of their education, title, age, political or religious background.
He advised the Bahereza to uphold the principles of the Faith, abstaining from alcohol, witchcraft, and any harmful actions towards others.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Namanya the deputy RDC Kagadi expressed his gratitude to Owobusobozi Bisaka for his continued blessings and support for the NRM government, which led to president Museveni’s victory in the recently concluded elections.
He lauded Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka for his teachings of unity and hard work which have brought peace and improved people’s homestead incomes.
