Excitement as MP Musana repairs a water source in Kamuroza

The residents of Nyamayeicumu village in Kyarwakya parish in Kamuroza Sub-County, Kagadi district who have been drawing water from the unprotected sources are overjoyed with the repairing of a bore hole in their area with the support of the Area MP Eric Musana.

The borehole will serve the entire parish and neighboring areas that have suffered for a long time without safe water.
The entire village lacked a water source forcing residents to share dirty water sources with animals, putting their lives at risk.

Twekambe Bukenya a member of a village Health team expressed excitement about the repairing of a water source, saying this is a big relief to the locals who have been trekking long distances in search of clean water.

Residents also applauded Hon Musana for supporting them to get a protected water source and promised him support in the forthcoming elections.

Omuhereza Kule, the political coordinator for MP Eric Musana who delivered the MP’s financial support cautioned residents on proper use of the borehole, asking them to form a water source committee for timely maintenance of the well.

He also rallied the locals to send all children to school at the official opening of first term on February 3^rd,2025.
