The East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP and Buyaga West Member of parliament Hopeful Denis Namara has advocated for the elevation of Kobusheera trading center in Mpeefu Sub-County to a Town council status to improve service delivery.
Namara made the commitment last evening while meeting locals from the villages of Tuhumwire, Mujayiguru and Rwabaranga in Rwabaranga Parish Buyaga West county Kagadi District, in his continued drive of traversing the various villages in the constituency launching the Namara village SACCO groups.
Namara expressed that elevating Kobusheera to a Town council status will spur economic development in Mpeefu greater and attract social services like piped Water, standard health facility, hydro power supply and upgrade of all roads within Kobusheera and neighboring villages to tarmac status.
Namara also assured the injection of One million Shillings into every village Namara group and these groups will receive complimentary funds from the central government.
In the spirit of corporate social responsibility, Namara donated 120 plates to each village, two balls to the village youths teams and over 400,000 Shillings.
