Christians have been urged to prioritize their children’s education if they are to transform their communities.
The call was made on Sunday by Rev. Moses Irumba during service at Butumba COU parish in Muhorro town council Kagadi district.
He implored Christians and other community members to support the construction of Bishop Kyamanywa SS to save their children from trekking long distances seeking for secondary education.
Rev.Irumba highlights the importance of education in socio-economic transformation of the communities.
In her remarks, the Kagadi district woman Member of Parliament aspiring candidate Apophia K.Namara asked women to shun immorality and dedicate their families to God for peace and stability.
Namara supported the church projects with 600,000 shillings cash.
During the service, 18 women were confirmed into the Christian women fellowship and 8 into the mothers union.
