Bugwara solar powered piped water project in Kicucura sub county Buyaga East constituency under the Legislation of the area Member of Parliament Eric Musana has now reached a visible progress level.
Speaking during the stakeholders meeting on Tuesday October 29 at Bugwara trading center, Kenneth Niwagaba working for ARDIT services LTD the project contractor said that the one year work project for Bugwara water supply will be completed by June 2025.
Kenneth notes that the project sponsored by the World Bank under the Kagadi leadership and the lobbing of the area MP Eric Musana is now at compensation level progress.
He called for cooperation and the community support during the project implementation.
The area leadership led by the Kicucura Sub-County Lc3 Vice chairperson Rosemary Tibakunirwa have expressed their gratitude to the NRM government and the current Leadership in Buyaga East for the services rendered and lobbing capabilities.
Tibakunirwa asked the residents to ensure cooperation and early involvement to avoid lamentations after being left out from accessing clean water.
The water project comes as a number of other areas in Buyaga East have been connected to affordable piped water supply and this one is to cover areas of Bugwara, Bugwara west, Kyabisurita and Kasonga villages in Kicucura Sub-County.
