The Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara diocese Rt.Rev.Jacob Ateirweho has urged married couples to embrace patience and forgiveness to have successful families.
He made the call last evening the 10th of Jan 2025 while leading a golden wedding anniversary and thanks giving service of Mzee Erisa Tibamwenda and Prisca Tibamwenda at St. Luke’s C.O.U in Kagadi town council, Kagadi district.
The couple are residents of Kyamukunisa Lc1 in Kagadi town council,Kagadi district.
Bishop Ateirweho further asked Christians to focus on their faith and trust God to fulfill their marriage vows and responsibilities.
He also emphasized peace, love and trust amongst Christian families.

Bishop Ateirweho further asked married couples to emulate the celebrated couple of Mzee Tibamwenda and his wife Prisca Tibwamwenda, commending their patience and resilience in marriage.
Additionally, the Prelate further asked Christians to obey the ten commandments of God to inherit eternal life.
