The newly elected LCIII Chairperson of Kagadi Town Council, Kasaija William Mugenyi, has been urged to involve God in his leadership and service as he begins his term in office.
The call was made by Rev.Canon. Francis Mugisa the archdeacon of Kagadi archdeaconry during a special prayer service held Thursday at the Kagadi Town Council headquarters as the chairperson officially reported to office.
Rev Canon. Mugisa reminded leaders that leadership is a calling from God and urged them to serve with integrity, unity, transparency, and mutual respect while avoiding divisionism among the people they lead.
In his remarks, Chairperson Kasaija William Mugenyi thanked the church for the prayers and said the council will next hold a committee meeting to map out priorities aimed at improving service delivery in Kagadi Town Council.
He also pledged to fulfill his campaign promises for the development of the area.
Meanwhile, the Principal Town Clerk of Kagadi Town Council, Isingoma John, pledged full support to the Chairperson and his executive team to ensure smooth operations at the council.
