Senior listeners of Paradigm FM launched a listeners’ club aimed at uniting members and improving their livelihoods.
During a meeting held Thursday at the premises of Paradigm FM, members unanimously agreed to support one another financially at the end of every month, as well as stand together during both happy and difficult moments.
The members also drafted rules and regulations to guide the operations of the club.
Speaking at the meeting, the club chairperson, Ambrose Muhwezi said members decided to come together in order to transform their lives as loyal listeners of the station, adding that they plan to eventually establish a SACCO.
Paradigm FM proprietor Eric Musana commended listeners for the initiative but cautioned them to uphold trust among themselves. Musana also donated radio sets to members to enable them continue accessing Paradigm FM programs.
Meanwhile, members who spoke to our reporter expressed optimism that the club would positively impact their lives.
