The outgoing Kagadi District LCV Chairperson, Ndibwami B. Yosia, has officially handed over office to the Chief Administrative Officer, Mrs. Epodoi Pauline, during a ceremony held Monday 18th, at Kagadi District Headquarters.
Ndibwami, who has served as district chairperson since 2021, handed over the office keys, the official vehicle keys, the constitution and district stamps to the CAO in the presence of technical staff, district councilors, and other dignitaries.
In his farewell remarks, Ndibwami reflected on the achievements and challenges during his five-year term in office.
He thanked the people of Kagadi and district staff for the support they accorded him and urged the incoming leadership to build on the progress already made.
Receiving the instruments of power, CAO Epodoi Pauline commended Hon. Ndibwami for his contribution to the development of Kagadi District and wished him success in his next endeavours.
She also advised public servants to always prepare for a smooth exit from office and focus on leaving a positive legacy.
Representing the Resident District Commissioner of Kagadi, Assistant RDC Mr. Edward Birungi praised Hon. Ndibwami for his dedication and commitment to public service.
The handover ceremony paves way for the swearing-in of the newly elected district chairperson and councillors scheduled for Thursday, 21st May 2026, marking a new chapter in Kagadi District leadership.
