The Kibaale Muslim district Khadi Sheik Haji Isingoma Mohamed has called upon all Muslims to embrace forgiveness, alms giving and spiritual renewal during this month of Ramadan.

This was in his message to Muslims as they begin to observe the holy month of Ramadan on Wednesday February 18.

According to Sheik Isingoma, Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and a significant month for Muslims around the world, marked by hope and spiritual growth.

Sheik Haji Isingoma urges Muslims to embrace the fasting holy practices such as forgiveness, alms giving, spiritual renewal and read the Quran to strengthen their faith in Allah.

He has appealed to security agencies to ensure adequate protection for worshipers attending night prayers, particularly during Taraweeh, when mosques experience increased attendance.

Sheik Isingoma emphasizes the importance of safety and coordination to enable faithful Muslims to observe Ramadan in a secure environment.

Sheik Isingoma has further urged the Muslim community to uphold high standards of behaviour beyond the Ramadhan period.

He rallies Muslims to embrace hard work and use this rainy season profitably to generate school fees for their children and alleviate poverty from their homes.
