The newly created St.Peter and Paul Ruteete catholic parish has officially welcomed another priest, Rev.Fr.Denis Jjumba during a special ceremony held at the parish premises in Wariire cell, Ruteete town council in Kagadi district.
Rev.Fr.Jumba joins Ruteete proposed catholic parish from Kasambya parish and will serve as an assistant parish priest to Rev.Fr.Patrick Mugisa.
Welcoming the new priest on behalf of other Christians on Thursday evening, the head of laity Ruteete proposed catholic parish Everest Niyonzima highlighted the importance of honoring and warmly receiving a new priest as a sign of respect and love.
He pledged to collaborate closely with the priests to achieve the social and economic transformation of the parish.

St.Peter and Paul Ruteete proposed catholic parish comprises of nine sub-parishes and is one of the recently created parishes in Hoima catholic diocese awaiting inauguration.
