St. Mary’s Catholic Parish under Kagadi Vicariate in Hoima Catholic Diocese has organised nine novena masses this Saturday ahead of tomorrow’s Pentecost Sunday celebrations.
Speaking to Paradigm FM News at his office at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, Kagadi, in Kagadi Town Council last evening, Msgr.Kabelenge said the masses will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
He explains that the novena masses had initially been scheduled throughout the week as part of preparations for Pentecost celebrations, but were later adjusted and merged into one day to comply with Ebola prevention measures.
Msgr.Kabelenge has urged Christians to present their prayer intentions during the novena masses for redemption and healing.
He adds that Pentecost Sunday masses will proceed as usual in all churches tomorrow.
