The president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museven has implored the people of Bunyoro sub region to shun sectarian tendencies for the continuous progress of the government’s transformation agenda.
President Museveni made the remarks last evening the 21st June 2025 while officiating as the chief guest at the thanksgiving of Robinah Nabbanja the prime Minister of Uganda.
The thanks giving Ceremony took place yesterday at Mpasaana seed secondary school playground in Mpasaana Town council, Kakumiro district.
President Museveni says tribalism is an enemy to the development of the country.
He is however calling on Ugandans to embrace government programs such as PDM in alleviating poverty and improving household income.
Premier Nabbanja who doubles as Kakumiro district woman MP was thanking God for the gift of life and political success.
She applauded president Museveni for entrusting her to serve Ugandans in the capacity of prime minister asserting that he has contributed much to her leadership success.
The archbishop of Kampala archdiocese, Grace Paul Ssemogerere who led the mass called on political leaders to lead Ugandans with love, trust and promote human dignity.
Meanwhile, Agaba Aisha Black, the MP for Bugangaizi East constituency and Sentayi Senkusu the Kakumiro district LC5 chairperson asked president Museven to tarmac the Nalweyo-Kisiita-Masode Road and the creation of Kisiita district to improve service delivery.
