The Kagadi Police-community liaisons officer Sgt.James Mbabazi has rallied parents to send all children to their respective schools early enough so that they catch up with those who have already reported.
He made the call on Wednesday while speaking to Paradigm fm at Kagadi Central Police station in Kagadi town council,Kagadi district.
Sgt.Mbabazi has emphasized the importance of parents supporting their children’s education. He encouraged parents to pay fees, provide scholastic materials and other related support to their children to improve the education standards in the district.
He also describes education as the only reliable and profitable gift a parent can give to a child now that there is limited land and other properties to inherit compared to the past.
Mbabazi underscores the need for every parent to ensure that every child goes to school, unveiling police’s enforcement plans of arresting all errant parents whose children are still in villages.
