The leader of the Faith of Unity, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, has praised the NRM government for promoting freedom of worship and peace in the country.
Bisaka has thanked President Yoweri Museveni and the government, saying the peace and security in the country have allowed people to worship freely and improve their livelihoods.
He made the remarks on Sunday while addressing believers at Rwabaranga Primary School in Mpeefu Sub-CountyKagadi District.
Bisaka has urged his followers to participate in government programs aimed at fighting poverty and improving household incomes.
Meanwhile, Mpeefu ya Sande Town Council LC3 Chairperson Robert Ahaisibwe welcomed Bisaka’s visit, praising him for promoting unity and healing among his followers.
Ahaisibwe says the visit attracted large crowds from within and outside the country, boosting business activities in the area.
During the event, Bisaka commissioned 229 new Bahereza and welcomed 170 people from different religious backgrounds who joined the Faith of Unity.
