
Kagadi
Over 116 students have successfully graduated from Paradigm Institute of Business and Media Studies in Kagadi district, earning certificates and diplomas in vocational, business and media courses.
The colorful graduation ceremony, which took place on 26th Sep 2025 at the institute’s premises in Kagadi Town Council, was attended by a variety of dignitaries, including politicians, religious leaders, members of the business community, and local residents.
The ceremony started earlier in the day with processions and matching of students and their parents along the streets of Kagadi town celebrating success of the graduands.
Presiding over the graduation ceremony, the chief executive secretary Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board-UVTAB represented by his deputy in-charge of finance, administration and human resource Geoffrey Kawanguzi urged the graduates to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained to transform their communities.
He commended the proprietor of the Institute Eric Musana who doubles as the Buyaga East constituency Member of Parliament for starting the institution that has supported many children and extended services closer to the community.
The proprietor of the Institute Eric Musana says they have produced many graduates now working in both government and private sectors.
He says the institution remains committed to contributing to the development of quality education in the country and also asked graduates to further their studies.
Barnabas Tinkasimire the Buyaga West Member of Parliament appreciated MP Musana for establishing the institute that has produced a remarkable number of professionals contributing greatly to the development of the country.
He asked the electorate in Buyaga East to re-elect him to Parliament in the 2026 elections for the lobby of more social services to the constituency.
At the ceremony, the Kagadi district woman MP Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi called on men to cooperate with their wives and educate their children to have a transformed society.
