Hundreds of believers from the Mugarike Catholic Parish accompanied by the Buyaga East MP Eric Musana have on Sunday made their pilgrimage to Bujumbura Cathedral, Hoima catholic diocese.
The purpose of the pilgrimage was for spiritual renewal and to offer support to the development of the diocese.
The special pilgrimage second mass was led by the Mugarike catholic parish priest Rev.Fr.Bingi Anthony who urged Christians to renew their faith and return to Christ.

The Buyaga East MP Eric Musana asked Christians to have positive hope towards achieving their development goals.
He contributed Ugx 500,000 cash to support development projects at the diocese.

Meanwhile the pilgrims could not hide their excitement whenever the church leaders and speakers would mention the accompaniment of Hon. Eric Musana in supporting the Catholic Church.
Speaking on the sidelines of the pilgrimage event, all the over 250 church members from Mugalike who were selected from various parts of the parish and in Buyaga east constituency have promised to support Musana in the coming elections slated for January 2026
