The Kagadi District Woman Member of Parliament Naziwa Margret Rujumba has called on Christians to actively participate in the forthcoming LC1 elections.

The legislator made the remarks on Sunday while addressing Christians during the Holy Childhood celebrations held at Kicucura Proposed Parish in Kicucura Sub-county, Kagadi District.

She urged Christians to exercise their constitutional right by taking part in the elections and choosing leaders who will promote peace, unity, and development within their communities.

Naziwa also emphasized on election of capable local leaders as essential for community development.

The MP also encouraged believers to embrace hard work as a means of improving their household incomes and raising their standards of living.

She noted that diligence and commitment are key values that should be practiced alongside faith.

She further appealed to Christians to remain united, uphold moral values, and support initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of their communities.

Meanwhile the Mp has supported church activities with Shs 1million cash.
