The Buyaga East Member of Parliament Eric Musana has been dully nominated to contest in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) primary elections ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Musana was nominated today 18th June 2025 as the NRM aspirant for Buyaga East constituency by Dr.Tanga Odoi the NRM electoral commission chairperson.
Speaking shortly after his nomination at the NRM Electoral Commission offices in Kampala,MP Musana expressed confidence that the campaigns would remain peaceful, imploring locals also to hold peaceful campaigns.
He expressed gratitude to his supporters and emphasized that his next term will focus on building upon previous achievements.
MP Musana says his next term in office will focus on improving health services such as renovation and upgrade of Kagadi general government hospital to a referral status, increasing access to safe water, enhancing electricity connectivity, schools and roads infrastructure development, community empowerment among other development programs.
