The Buyaga East Member of Parliament Eric Musana has urged youth to form groups and benefit from government poverty alleviation programs.

The legislator made the call on 26th October, 2025 during a meeting with sub-county youth leaders from the Buyaga East constituency held at Paradigm FM premises in Kagadi town council,Kagadi district.

MP Musana says government channels livelihood support funds from Parish development modal (PDM), youth livelihood programs (YLP), among other poverty alleviation initiatives to the only united communities.

He therefore advises youth to embrace groups and easily access support funds from government meant to improve their wellbeing.

On education,MP Musana has pledged 25% bursaries to the youth that will join Paradigm Institute for business and media studies, in his broader initiative of supporting unprivileged youth also pursue tertiary education.

The legislator says during his two term tenure, the constituency has achieved several developments, challenging youth to always research about the key services extended to their areas and dismiss propaganda from opportunists.

In his remarks, the Kagadi district youth chairperson Collin Alinda commended MP Musana for holding an interaction with them where they raised their concerns, expressing optimism that the discussions will be fruitful. He also asked fellow youth to embrace the transformative messages of MP Musana to improve their livelihoods and develop their communities

Meanwhile, youth that graced the meeting applauded MP Musana for mobilizing them to embrace government programs and other existing opportunities.
