The Buyaga East Member of Parliament Eric Musana has urged Christians in Kagadi district to embrace hard work to improve their livelihoods and strengthen their faith in Christ.

The legislator made the call on Sunday during a thanks giving service at Kagadi Pentecostal ministries church in Kagadi town council,Kagadi district.

He advised Christians not to spend all their time in prayers but also venture into income generating activities to build their capacity of supporting church projects and improve their livelihoods.

“President Museven has always emphasized hard work to fight poverty, venture into commercial agriculture, rear poultry, goats or embrace coffee farming to beat the odds and prosper, prayers alone will not get you out of poverty” ,Musana told Christians.

He asserts that poverty stricken Christians are vulnerable to devil temptations, emphasizing hard work to have a strong faith in God.

“When you don’t have money, wherever you go you admire good things and do not have capacity to buy them for yourself, I rally you to work hard and acquire for yourself basic needs”,Musana urged Christians.

Musana supported the thanks giving service with One Million shillings cash.
