The Kagadi district Woman MP Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi has urged residents of Kyaterekera town council in Kagadi district to stand firm behind President Yoweri Kaguta Museven in the forthcoming elections, praising him for good leadership and stability.
The woman MP was on Monday Sep,29,2025, addressing mourners at the burial ceremony of late Maria Nyakaisiki 95 years in Kyaterekera B Cell, Kyaterekera town council in Kagadi district.
Janepher says the NRM government has brought peace and initiated poverty alleviation programs like Parish Development Modal, which she said is designed to uplift communities from subsistence to money-making ventures.
She also unveiled reasons for standing as an independent candidate in the 2026 general elections, criticizing massive irregularities that marred the recent NRM primaries.
Janepher who picked a symbol of a saucepan called on residents to vote for her in the 2026 elections and emphasized that her next term will focus on building upon previous achievements.
