Kibaale Town Council leaders and technical staff have pinned the Acting Principal Town Clerk, George William Tibihikira over insubordination, malice and mismanagement.
Paradigm fm has since learnt that they have petitioned the Kibaale District top leadership to effect the transfer of Tibihikira.
The issues were raised yesterday during a 6- hour consultative meeting that was not allowed to be covered by journalists.
A staff of Kibaale town council who preferred anonymity says that they are determined to cause the transfer of clerk Tibihikira.
The meeting chaired by the Kibaale District LCV Chairperson, Godfrey Muwonge Kasanga and attended by the CAO John Katotoroma, Kibaale Town Council leaders, and technical staff among others was held at the commercial boardroom.
A source who preferred anonymity told our reporter that the town council technical staff and political leaders openly pinned Tibihikira over creating hatred among the staff, disobedient and mismanagement of government property crippling service delivery.
The impasse also stems from allegations that some technical staff were implicated in soliciting bribes from intended PDM beneficiaries and absenteeism in his watch.
In a private interview last evening, Tibihikira who preferred not to be recorded insists that he can’t reveal what transpired in the meeting and a joint statement to the media should be issued by the Kibaale LCV Chairperson Godfrey Muwonge Kasanga.
However, Joseph Ssaazi the Kibaale Town Council LC3 Chairperson did not dismiss nor accept the fact that they have petitioned for the transfer of Tibihikira adding that the final resolutions of the meeting will be issued out by the top leadership.
He insists the individuals implicated will soon face disciplinary action.
