Taxi drivers and operators in Kagadi district under their umbrella Kagadi Drivers and Operators Association (KDOS) on Sundayparked their vehicles and petitioned the Kagadi town council leadership, over what they called bad management of their association.
About 50 of these petitioned the offices of the mayor and town clerk and later held a meeting at Kagadi town council offices, seeking intervention in the running of their Union’s leadership.
The complainants accuse their chairperson Matia Abiola Musoke and his executive of failing to conduct a single general meeting ever since the union was created, misuse of union funds and overstaying in leadership positions.
