Christians have been urged to maintain good deeds as they approach Holy Week, marking the end of Lent.
The call was made on 29th by Monsignor Peter Kaberenge, Episcopal Vicar of Kagadi vicariate, during a mass at St Mary’s Catholic Church on Palm Sunday.
The liturgy on Palm Sunday was led by Paradigm Institute choir, demonstrating high level liturgical performances.
Msgr. Kabelenge emphasized the significance of palms as a symbol of love, peace, and victory, referring Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
Monsignor Kaberenge stressed the need for Christians to behave holily during this week, exhibiting acts of charity and generosity. He led rallied the congregation to reflect on the importance of emulating Jesus’ values.
In a thanks-giving message, Monsignor Kaberenge appreciated Paradigm Institute for leading the mass wisely.
He also thanked Hon. Eric Musana the director Paradigm Institute and Buyaga East MP for supporting church programs, including airing mass on Paradigm FM and prayer program-‘’Iraka Ryeklezia Katurika’’ aired out every Sunday.
Meanwhile, MP Musana thanked Monsignor Kaberenge for the opportunity to lead the liturgy on Palm Sunday. He highlighted Paradigm Institute’s progress and urged Christians to seek value addition in spiritual and worldly life.
