Kabuga
Mourners have been urged to do good deeds while they are still alive if they are to inherit the Kingdom of God.
The call was made on Monday by Rev. David Mugisha of Kabuga Church of Uganda Parish during the burial of the late Justus Kajura in Kabuga B, Muhorro Sub-county, Kagadi District.
Reverend Mugisha urged mourners to live exemplary lives, help others and use their time on earth to do good.
He reminded them that death is inevitable and called on them to reflect on the kind of legacy they will leave behind.
Meanwhile, Habasa Robert, the LC3 Chairperson of Muhorro Sub-county, has urged residents to embrace hard work and avoid spending too much time in bars drinking alcohol.
Habasa said people should use their time and resources productively to improve their livelihoods and develop their communities.
He also urged mourners to learn from Kajura’s death by valuing life, supporting one another and engaging in activities that benefit their families and communities.
