For the first time in the history of the faith of unity, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobuzi Bisaka has adjusted their worship date for this month of May, from 12th to 8th May across all the worship centres in the world to enable believers attend the swearing in ceremony for President Yoweri Museveni.

Owobusobozi Bisaka announced the declaration while addressing a gathering of all leaders of Amatambiro from 35 Bukwenda at Kapyemi in Muhorro town council, Kagadi district.

While the Faith of Unity typically observes worship days on the 2nd, 12th, and 22nd of each month, the shift to prioritizing May 8th, aligns with national event of the swearing in ceremony for president Museveni.

Owobosobozi Bisaka also thanked his believers for heeding to his advice and voting overwhelmingly for Yoweri Kaguta Museveni with the highest percentage in the January 15, elections.

He requested them to attend the upcoming swearing-in ceremony at Kololo ceremonial grounds, Kampala, on 12th May,2026.

Meanwhile the same date on 8th May, 2026, Government has announced a three-day nationwide prayer programme ahead of the swearing-in of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on May 12, 2026, as part of spiritual preparations for the next five-year term.

According to Yunus Kakande, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President, the prayers, scheduled from May 8 to May 10, will take place across mosques and churches nationwide. The initiative is aimed at grounding national leadership in faith and unity.
